ROAD CLOSURES

In the interest of public safety, road closures will be in effect during the event. These closures will be implemented in stages at 2pm, 3pm, and 6pm, and will remain in place until approximately 11pm. Every effort will be made to reopen roads earlier if it is safe to do so.

Please refer to the map below for detailed information on the closures and associated timings.

Vehicles that do not comply with the restrictions will be infringed and/or towed at the owner’s expense. No vehicle entry or exit will be permitted into properties or businesses within the road closure areas, and driveways may be blocked as part of the Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Strategy and Traffic Management Plan.

In the event of a medical emergency, access will be granted through road closures. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. The City works closely with emergency services (DFES, St John Ambulance, and WAPOL) to manage these closures.

If you plan to host guests at your property, please ensure they arrive before road closures begin. Guests should not attempt to leave until roads are reopened.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Street parking within the closures will be unavailable with “No Stopping” hoods from 7am on Saturday 25 January 2025.

Please refer to the on-street parking signs for restrictions. Please note that all CPP car parks have free night-time parking after 6pm, however you will not be able to access any car parks in the road closure areas until the roads are reopened.

TERRACE ROAD RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT HOLDERS

Limited parking will be made available on Bennett Street, Hill Street and Plain Street between Hay Street and Terrace Road between 3pm and 6pm.
