The 2023 Australian Swimming Championships
The largest annual event on the Australian Swimming calendar, the Australian Swimming Championships, are currently being held at one of the country’s premier swimming venues, the the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, starting April 17th until April 20th.
The week showcases some of our country’s most hardworking and outstanding Olympic and Paralympic swimmers, promising many exciting swims! The meet will also serve as selection for the World Para Swimming World Championships which will be held in Manchester in July of this year.
Australian Swimmer’s Patron, and Queensland Swimmer’s Patron Mrs. Gina Rinehart, was proudly in attendance, cheering on our country’s best.
Best wishes to all competing at the Championships!
This excellent venue is where the swimmer’s Olympic selection championships should be held next July, several weeks prior to the Olympics, to consider the interests of the swimmers who have trained over years to represent Australia, and to enable Australia’s best to represent our country. The risk of colds and colds going to chests in winter when swimmers are restricted in medicine useage, is a risk that should be adequately considered.
