Further NSW Wagyu Property Acquisition

Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd (HPPL) is pleased to confirm that it has acquired a third pastoral holding in New South Wales, and is gearing up for its first export of Australian-produced Fullblood Wagyu to Asia.

HPPL purchased Hiddendale late last year, after purchasing nearby properties near Dubbo in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

After the acquisition of Hiddendale, HPPL now has a herd of 8,000 head of Fullblood Wagyu, predominantly grazing on pasture in New South Wales.

This represents one of the biggest Fullblood Wagyu operations in Australia.

HPPL is also this week sending its first shipment of Wagyu to Asia under its new Australian Wagyu brand ‘2GR’.

NSW Government Minister for Planning and former Industry Minister, Anthony Roberts, welcomed today’s announcement.

“This is another fantastic vote of confidence in regional NSW and I thank and congratulate HPPL and Mrs Rinehart,” Mr Roberts said.

“This investment not only further highlights the quality of the State’s cattle industry, it will lead to increased jobs, prosperity and opportunities for the people of western NSW into the future.”
