Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd (HPPL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie Mirabella to its executive team as the new General Manager of Government & Media Relations.
“The Hancock business has grown substantially over the past several years with the establishment of the 3 major Hope Downs iron ore mines and more recently the construction of the Roy Hill mega project which is ramping‐up and is now targeting consistent production levels of 3 million tonnes per month on the path to 55 Mtpa. We are also focused on investing further into our beef business in Australia, an area where I have a long term and strong personal connection, and dairy also. Given the continued growth of Hancock this is a very exciting time to include our first GM of Government & Media Relations, and to welcome Sophie on our team,” said HPPL Chair, Gina Rinehart.
