The 2018 Hancock Prospecting Australian Short Course Championships commenced on the 25th October, running until the 27th of October, taking place at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
These short course championships are fast, swum in a short course (25m) pool, and incorporate the selection trials for the Australian Dolphins Swim Team to compete at the 2018 FINA World Championships in Hangzhou, China in December.
Patron Mrs. Gina Rinehart was pool deck on opening night, excitingly cheering our swimmers on and presenting medals for the men’s and women’s 100m freestyle.
