This Christmas time, we have a very special inaugural Christmas lights competition in the country, sponsored by Hancock Prospecting and Kingsford at Pearce , open to both individual homes and community groups that light up their facility.
Whether it was bulbs, fairy buds, LED ropes or projections, the more lights the better!!
First prize included a family trip to Singapore to see the city’s famous Christmas lights display and second prize a trip for two to the Whitsundays to attend the 2022 National Agriculture and related Industries Day Celebrations, held in November.
The winner of the Christmas Lights Community Group category would receive a cash prize towards funding a local project of their choosing.
Hancock Prospecting which included the Group’s Executive Chairman Mrs. Gina Rinehart, were so impressed with the efforts of the towns and surrounding residents that prizes were extended, with two individual houses winning a family trip to Singapore, and an addition numerous second prizes to the Whitsundays. The essential Bullsbrook fire brigade did so well in their Community Group category that their cash prize was doubled!
A very big congratulations to this year’s winners, and looking forward to seeing more country homes and community groups light up next year for next years country chrissie lights competition.
