Last night, Hancock Prospecting, Atlas Iron and HanRoy, gathered to celebrate the end of a successful year with a festive Christmas party. The evening brought together all across the company, filled with Christmas cheer and great mateships.
Executive Chairman Mrs Gina Rinehart, and CEOs and company executives, were in attendance, amongst the hundreds of staff, with more linked in on the screens. Mrs Rinehart’s speech shared special moments of the past year, celebrating the collective achievements of Hancock, Atlas and HanRoy. Mrs Rinehart reminded all that our special National Days for Agriculture and Mining and Related Industries are just a day each in the calendar, but the messages from the speakers should be spread the other 364 days of the year.
Guests enjoyed a Christmas feast, including the iconic Kidman meat pies and Bannister Downs cocktails, and a variety of food stalls that included turkey and its traditional trimmings.
Adding to the festive spirit, Mrs Rinehart delighted the staff with her signature generosity by donating a series of Christmas raffles. Lucky winners, chosen with IT’s help and the push of a button, were gifted early Christmas presents: $100,000 each with the tax paid by the company, so that each winner could enjoy the entire $100,000! Lucky winners photos of those present will be added.
The celebration was a reflection of the company’s spirit – high morale, unity, loyalty, pride in our companies, and mateships, among all who attended.
