Another day, another Paris event for Gina Rinehart — Australia’s biggest Olympic super fan.

Mrs Rinehart was spotted out at the rowing, showing her support for Australia, sporting a stuffed boxing kangaroo.

Unfortunately there was a string of disappointing results for the Australian Rowsellas team.

The billionaire mining magnate is still backing the rowing team until at least 2028, and several Australian team members praised her direct financial support for them.

As for Mrs Rinehart, she told us: “People ask me, ‘why do you support Olympians?’ I see this as a positive win win win, hard working, inspiring role models, representing our nation at their patriotic best, making Aussies across our country happy and proud.

“So, my answer is, ‘why not!’”

Mrs Rinehart has also attended several nights of the swimming and rowing on Friday too.

She was spotted by the pool at La Defense with Australian legend Dawn Fraser.

Her big week also included the opening ceremony on the River Seine in the rain, where she was pictured sitting in a weatherproof poncho.

She has also attended the beach volleyball to support the men’s Aussie pairing.
