The Australian Artistic Swim team were presented with their pins after being selected for the upcoming Paris Olympics by Hancock Prospecting’s CEO Garry Korte on Saturday 29 July.
This was the team’s final performance before leaving Perth – an event attended by more than 500 vocal supporters.
Garry used the occasion to acknowledge the contribution of Patron Mrs Gina Rinehart AO saying: “None of this would be possible without the incredible support of Mrs Gina Rinehart who is the largest individual contributor to our Australian Olympic teams with her support also extending to rowing, swimming and volleyball. Those of you who know her will know that she has a burning desire and fierce determination to see our athletes succeed at the highest level. Thank you Mrs Rinehart for everything that you do for our Olympic athletes.”
