The biggest week of Australian beach volleyball is underway on the Gold Coast with the 10-day Volleyslam festival being held in front of a picturesque backdrop, Coolangatta beach.
More than 1500 players from across Australia and around the world will take part in four marquee events, including the Mahindra Australian Beach Volleyball Championships, Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships, Australian Beach Volleyball Schools Cup and Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures.
It all comes to a conclusion this weekend with the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, featuring international teams from Canada, Denmark, England, Germany, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand, USA and Vanuatu as well as hosts Australian.
Spectators will be treated to exciting matches with amazing talent, watching the Aussie rising stars and some of the best players in the world.
