Australia’s top businesswoman needs little introduction.
In June, mining billionaire Gina Rinehart was recognised as 2023’s Western Australian of the Year, which she described as a “wonderful honour”.
Australia’s richest person has long been respected and has won a list of awards for spearheading the exploration, financing, construction and operation of the award-winning $15.1 billion Roy Hill iron ore project.
And throughout 2023, Mrs Rinehart made several significant high-profile investments, including the purchase of the popular Bunbury Farmers Market, the Drizabone brand and, most recently, Rossi Boots.
Mrs Rinehart prefers to keep a low profile but has been generous in giving back to the community.
Her ongoing philanthropy has aided several medical, sporting, educational, health and community organisations across WA and Australia.
