The iconic Gold Coast 2023 Volleyslam Beach Volleyball Festival was held over the last week on the picturesque Coolangatta Beach, Queensland.
Showcasing beach volleyball events, the festival includes schools to state representation, the Australian Championships and international beach volleyball, with players travelling from all over to compete.
Volleyball Australia Patron Mrs. Gina Rinehart was courtside with president Craig Carracher on Sunday for the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour finals, with participating countries including the USA, Sweden, China, Japan, Thailand and others. After an exciting game, Australia secured first and second place in the women’s competition, with Vanuatu coming third.
