Some of the biggest names in Australian sport and business will join Sunshine Coast industry leaders at a special event to discuss the legacy benefits of the 2032 Olympics. Here’s how to book your tickets.
Hancock Prospecting executive chairman Gina Rinehart and Olympic legend Dawn Fraser will be among the guest speakers at the Future Sunshine Coast lunch event on November 30.
The lunch at Maroochy RSL will provide a critical discussion on how the region can benefit from the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games legacy.
Transport, infrastructure, tourism, sport and business opportunities will be some of the major topics covered.
Mrs Rinehart and Ms Fraser will be joined by Regional Development Australia’s Carol Cashman, Sunshine Coast Airport chief Andrew Brodie, Paralympic gold medallist Lucky Patterson, demographer Simon Kuestenmacher and Urbis director and futurist James Tuma.
News Corp Queensland managing director Jason Scott will host the lunch with Sunshine Coast Daily editor Nadja Fleet and Sky News Queensland editor and prominent News Corp columnist Peter Gleeson.
It follows a dedicated editorial series across News Corp’s mastheads in South East Queensland, in partnership with media partners Sky News and 7NEWS, exploring ways the region could benefit from the Games over the next 30 years.
The lunch will run from 11.30am-2.30pm at the Maroochy RSL Events Centre, 105 Memorial Ave, on Tuesday, November 30.
