2019 Hancock Prospecting World Swimming Trials

The 2019 Hancock Prospecting World Swimming Trials were held in Brisbane, finishing up over the weekend.

Australia’s fastest swimmers raced for their spot on the Australian Dolphins Swim Team to secure their seat on the plane to South Korea for the 2019 FINA World Championships in July.

Standout swims included Ariarne Titmus breaking the Commonwealth record in the 400m freestyle, Emma McKeon’s PB in the 200m freestyle, and Mitch Larkin breaking the Commonwealth record in the 200m IM and the Australian All Comers record in the 100m backstroke.

Congratulations to all! And thank you to all volunteers who helped to run this swimming championships, and make this event leading to the world championships possible.
